Art has always played a major role in my life and has shaped the way I view the world and design as a concept.

I have always found beauty within the details. Something I still value in my work today.

Over the years my work has been recognized by institutions like Scholastics, The Aquarium of the Bay, the Sacramento Fine Arts center and NPR CapRadio.

But what fuels my desire to create is the raw human emotion and freedom of expression that art represents, which is very present throughout my work.

1 of the 3 pieces I submitted for Scholastics Art and Writing competition. I was awarded a honorable mention for this piece, "Searching."

In 2019 I was honored to be one of the 30 local artists chosen to design and paint a sea lion statue to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the sea lions making PIER 39 their home.

This project was a lot of fun, it was my first time doing anything like this and I learned so much from all the other artists that I shared the warehouse with. I got to meet so many established local artists, the whole experience was very inspiring and made me feel like a real artist.

In 2019 piece was selected by the Sacramento Fine Arts Center for their exhibition "Animal House." The original sketch (the picture bellow) was done with sharpie, I repainted it with acrylic on a canvas for the exhibition.
